PUSA with BOAT

February is known for several things: being difficult for 6th graders to spell, Valentine's Day, cold weather, and of course President's Day.

BOAT will be playing two special shows in support of the Presidents of the USA in honor of this fact.

Thursday, February 11th, will see BOAT packing up the Jeep and heading to the Roseland Ballroom in Portland, OR. On Saturday, February 13th, BOAT will be joining the Presidents at the Showbox at the Market.

Be there and witness a true spectacle. Rumor has it that D. Crane spent two years as an official member of the PUSA fan club.

When asked for comment, D. Crane's mother said this: "I vaguely remember bringing in official PUSA newsletters, stickers, and postcards from the mailbox, during his tumultuous teen years. I am unable to confirm that he has a VHS tape of their infamous MTV Mt. Rushmore appearance, in his possession."

SHOCKER IN GLOOMTOWN:BOAT defeated!

BOAT was defeated by Head Like a Kite in the final round of Grudge Rock! The upset of a lifetime occurred over the category...."songs that have a day of the week in the title."

BOAT was shut out on: Sunday Bloody Sunday, S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night-Bay City Rollers, and Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting. Head Like a Kite stole the category and the 102 points with Ruby Tuesday-Rolling Stones. It was brutal indeed.

BOAT's first show of 2010 will be an appearance at Grudge Rock. They will be playing Family Feud against HEAD LIKE A KITE, at the Crocodile Cafe, on 1/16/10. Be there. BOAT will also be playing songs. It could/should get strange.
