The Promotion is a new movie starring John C. Reilly and Sean William Scott. It will be released on June 6th, 2008. In a bizarre move, the filmakers have decided to use "Free the Birds in the Stall" in the movie.

This song features C. Hale (Tullycraft/Sleep Op Designs) playing accordion. He is a squeezebox genius.

THIS SATURDAY! (1/2 of BOAT)

This Saturday March 29th, D. Crane and M. McKenzie will be playing a special acoustic show at Stickman Coffee in Fremont. Look for sleigh bells, tambourines, shakers, a half functioning kick drum, fairly in tune guitars, lyrical miscues, false starts, hot chocolate, chai, Casios, some friends, and handclaps to make an appearance as well.

The show starts at 8. The Besties (Brooklyn, NY) are also playing. Also look out for Suretoss (Chris from Patience Please/IndiePages) to play some songs as well. The Besties are indeed rad!

Next weekend, BOAT will descend upon one of the finest living rooms in Tacoma,WA to eat Pho, stay up late, and record four new songs. That is the official word. These songs will hopefully be part of BOAT's forthcoming EP/Super Sloppy Maxi Single. Stay tuned for more details.
