BOAT UPDATES WEBSITE!/Z. DUFFY IS CULPRIT!

This is a photo of former BOAT member/current webmaster/wizard Z. Duffy. He has been helping update the BOAT site. It may change over the next few days, so bear with him/us. The site now includes a press section! Read about BOAT by visiting the press section and clicking on what I've been told are called hyperlinks!

Thanks,

A Note from D. Crane to H. Fozzelberry

I received this email from D. Crane today.

"While it is true that we are recording our second LP soon, we are stillin the rehearsal stages and will most likely not be putting the songs to tape until January or February. We hope to play many of the new songs at our December shows. We are still deciding what songs will make the album. Although we do want to make plans for a clapping army, we are not exactly sure of recording dates/plans. Let's have a clapping army reserve."

I retract the bold claims made in my prior post. I assure you BOAT's December shows will be interesting.

BEACON PUB SETLIST/NEXT WEEK @ the Y

D. Crane and M. McKenzie played a two man show last night at the Beacon Pub. They opened for the famed Rivertubes. D. Crane played slightly out of time bass drum and guitar, while M. McKenzie played searing/scorching lead guitar and bongos.

BOAT will return in full band glory to the VERA Project/4th Ave. YMCA Fusion Cafe next week. Click here for details. It will be an amazing all ages show. Eux Autres will be there and the Math and Physics Club! Oh yes....also the magical Lonely Forest is playing too.

November is here!

This is a picture of B. MArshall of Sacramento, CA wearing a forest green BOAT (2nd edition) tee shirt.

November has arrived. P. Mayben's back is healing and BOAT is getting back to thinking/dreaming of more shows and new songs. We hope never to cancel another show.

D. Crane and M. McKenzie will be playing acoustically on November 11th at the Beacon Pub, opening for the Rivertubes and Estocar. The Beacon Pub is indeed where BOAT played their first show in 2004. This is the first time D. Crane and M. McKenzie have ever played acoustically. It will be a mix of unrecorded new material and clap along hits. Please join them.

Also, BOAT will be returning to four piece action at the Fusion Cafe/VERA Project on November 18th. The new songs are still being worked out, but the next LP is shaping up to be even sloppier and poppier than Songs That You Might Not Like.
