BOAT on the Radio!

Today, it was learned that BOAT will appear live on 107.7 the End on August 4th. They will play a couple songs from their forthcoming "Songs That You Might Not Like" LP and also conduct a short interview. Last time BOAT appeared on the radio it was on KEXP and they were extremely sloppy and played all of their songs very fast. Will they play slower? Will they hit the right chords and sing the right words? Who can say?

The West Coast tour starts on July 5th in Bellingham with Racetrack and Carrie Biell at the Antique Radio Museum. It should be a true spectacle!

It comes from the Make Way for the Genius To Appear Single. This single had 5 never before released tracks and was limited to 50 copies This single has since sold out. It first went on sale at the Twee Pop Fest on December 10th, 2005.

The next homemade cardboard single is entitled "Base the Money On the Children." It will be available in late summer or early fall. Each handmade cardstock/sticky pouch single is hand numbered and contains 5 songs that have never been released. Will you get the next one? We will be selling 50 here and 50 at shows.

The tour begins in less than two weeks. We will be well practiced and well nourished. Seriously, Hot Mama's Pizza? Who knew?

Keeping you posted....

This new site is a bit tricky. Stay tuned for us to work out our issues and soon all will be running smoothly.

Oh yes....tonight's update is that we will be playing the CAPITOL HILL BLOCK PARTY at the VERA stage on Friday July 28th. We are playing around 6 o'clock. It should be fairly rad.
